Weekend Haul

Thursday 4 July 2013

I rarely go shopping but this weekend I went twice and ended up buying quite a few things. By quite a few I mean a lot!

Schwarzkopf Live Color XXL in 00B Max Blonde & 91 Raspberry Rebel £5.49 each currently buy one get one half price.
I picked up 2 of each due to the offer and my usual leaving it to the last minute to remember hair dye. I've had pink hair for about 4/5 years and after using Crazy Color for a while this is now my favourite colour to use. I had bleach blonde before going pink so I now only need to retouch my roots rather than all over.
Lee Stafford Hair Growth Shampoo £6.99 currently buy one get one half price
I needed a new shampoo and in my quest to try to get my hair waist length (a very hard quest) I thought this might help. I've heard good things about the treatment from this range so I have high hopes. I've used this once already and it does a nice job of cleaning but as the bottles are quite small I'm not sure how long they will last.
Sally Hansen Regular Polish Remover £2.45 currently buy one get one half price
The remover I'm currently using is useless so that will be thrown away (only a little left) and this I'm hoping will actual take my polish off without having to go through a pack of pads every time!

Boots Baby Large Cotton Wool Pads £2.19 currently buy one get one half price
Not very exciting but thought I would try some bigger cotton pads in an attempt to use less when removing my make up.
Benefit They're Real Mascara £19.50 free gift with purchase
I got a sample of this is a beauty advent calendar and having nearly finished that up I repurchased. Quite expensive for a mascara but I really think it is worth it and I very much like how easy it is to remove compared to some other mascaras.

Eucerin Even Brighter Pigment Reducing Day Cream SPF 30 £22.50, Night Cream £23.50 & Spot Corrector £14.50 no offers sadly
I'm very excited about these 3 products. I have some (more than needed) freckles on my face that I really want gone. I know this won't make them disappear but I will take faded and less prominent in it's place. Once a few other moisturises have been used up I will be smothering my face in these yay!

No7 Make Up Brush Cleanser £8 with voucher I got it for £5 currently buy one get one half price
I thought it was about time I cleaned my brushes, they aren't disgusting but a little treat won't hurt them.
Ralph Eau De Toilette £15.99 originally £30 £14.01 saving
I love this perfume, I used to wear it all the time until it became really hard to find in stores. £30 for a 30ml bottle is a bit much so I treated myself while it is on discount. It reminds me of summer, fruity and clean.
Too Faced Borderline £12.50 no offers =(
Annoyingly some bright colours bleed out and make it look like a 3 year old has crayoned my lips. This is a clear lip liner so can be used with any colour, I just hope this works!
Vanilla Puff Dusting Powder £4.50 Lush
I am terrible when it comes to moisturising my body, one of the reasons being I hate waiting for it to sink in and stop being tacky. I bought this to dust over my moisturiser to help dry it out if that makes any sense. This smells, well, a bit weird in the bottle so I do hope that smell changes once on the skin.

Strawberry Body Mist £7.50  - the Body Shop always has amazing offers on
This smells amazing! I already have the mango one but this is much sweeter, I wish they would do a cherry one.
Coconut Oil £5.50
Now I may have made a mistake with this. After watching Kandee Johnson's video, how to hide a zit where she used coconut oil to smooth the spot before applying concealer I knew this I what I needed. Off to Body Shop I went and spotted this, as an after thought I now think this won't work due to all the other ingredients. Oh well, good intentions I suppose.
Peppermint Smoothing Foot Scrub £7.00
This was a free gift which is perfect now the sun is supposed to be coming out. I've used this before and it is very refreshing.

I also used a 40% off code I got through on email so even better.

I went into The Works which is a discount bookstore and found a display with American candy on, I was very pleasantly surprised and got straight to grabbing as much as I could. I picked up 2 of each and have so far enjoyed a box of Milk Duds and a pot of Lucky Charms. Why don't they sell them over here!

Miss Selfridge Super Skinny Jeans £36/38
Picked up a couple of skinny jeans but for some reason the blue pair seem to have lost their tightness since trying them on in the changing room....weird.

Iron Fist Sweets For My Sweets £19.99 down from £35
I love and I mean love Iron Fist, I have spent quite a few hours browsing the shoes and clothes on ebay and making a lot of purchases. These flats are so cute and at £20 I could not say no! I also picked up Love Me Flat Rose & Anchor, also in the sale for £19.99.

My main reason for being in Schuh was to pick up some new high tops and I found these beauties

  Adidas Honey Mid Stripes £52

Well, that was my very big haul. My poor little card is weeping from so much use.

Ciao
