MEMEBOX Superbox #79 Oh! My Lips

Sunday 1 February 2015

This box was $29.99 which includes shipping. You can check out what boxes are currently available here.

Box description -
'Oh my lips! The colder season is comin' round the corner, but are your lips ready? If taking care of your lips isn't part of your beauty to-do list this winter, re-think your beauty priorities. Most people don't know, but collagen loss and wrinkles around the lips add ages to your face, and with winter winds and drier climate, lips are more prone to aging and thinning. Don't fret because we're here to help you fight against lip-aging with this Oh! My Lips Box. All goodies are made with a bold blend of potent age-delaying, moisture-enhancing, volumizing, and smoothing ingredients to give you the look of beautiful, plump, and youthful lips!'

Vivito Painting Sweet Lip Balm 02 Berry Farm - 12g $24 (£15.85) exp: 12/05/17
'This chubby jelly-textured tinted lip balm give rich moisture and nutrition for dry lips. With a refreshing blend of blackberry, orange peel, grape, cacao seed butter, and more natural ingredients, this cute jelly balm will be the answer to winter's lip care concerns. It also comes in a cute tin for on-the-go care!'
This smells amazing, I can definitely smell the blackberry in this. Very expensive for a tinted lip balm though. Being addicted to lip balms I can safely say this will be used.

Lassie'el Kiss Me! Glam Up! Lipstick 6ea - $6 (£3.96)
'These are not one-time, disposable lip tattoos. They are real pigmented lipsticks packaged into these easy-to-carry lip cards, providing you with 6 different color options to choose from according to your mood, day, and occasion!'
I only got 5 colours as I got 2 of the Lucid Orange which means I was missing Oriental Red which is no big deal as I'm not a fan of reds. I think these would be great for travel as it gives you a choice of colours without needing to bring a load of lip products. To be honest I probably won't use these I only like a couple of the colours but already have something similar.

SR Lip Scrub - 30ml $12 (£7.92) exp: 08/12/15
'Exfoliate away dead skin cells and deeply soothe and hydrate dry, chapped lips with SR's Lip Scrub enriched with a blend of argan oil, tocopherol, vitamin E, snail filtrate, and pearl extracts. The gentle micro-beads soften and smoothen out roughened lips for suppler, kissable pout!'
This is a lot of lip scrub compared to the usual pots I've seen. I'm currently using the Lush scrub which I think is probably going to be harsher than this. I can imagine this being a creamy texture which I'm not sure I'd like rubbing into my lips. Good addition to the box but I just prefer sugar scrubs.

 Vivito Dessin Solution Lip & Eye Remover - 100ml $32 (£21.13) made on: 29/04/14
'A double-layered Lip & Eye Remover that effectively melts away stubborn point makeup and skin impurities around sensitive eye contours and lips. Make sure to shake the upper and lower layers well together before application. Its gentle blend of lemon grass oil and rosehip oil has soothing and moisturizing effects as well.'
This seems awfully expensive for a makeup remover! This will definitely be used, one of the few products in the box that I like.

Rosemine Vitamin E Lip Balm Mint Tea - 12g $7 (£4.62) exp: 14/11/17
'Scented with a refreshingly minty, herbal fragrance, this Vitamin E Lip Balm is richly formulated from a blend of vitamin E, ceramide, peppermint extracts and 5 different kinds of moisturizing essential oil. It coats over dry, chapped lips with a moisture layer to lock in the moisture and to protect against external damage or dehydration.'
I think the thing that has put me off of this is the herbal fragrance, I really don't like anything herbal. I will be passing this along as to be fair I do already have enough lip balm to last a while.

Well out of 5 products I will only be using 2. I would say everything in this box does follow the theme but some of them just aren't for me. Quite a disappointing box but then that is just down to my personal tastes.

What did you think of this box?
